am و is و are
درس ولعبة لتعلّم am وis وare في الإنجليزية — للأطفال من الصف الثالث إلى الخامس.
Use am with I. Use is with he, she, it and one person or thing. Use are with you, we, they and more than one.
في الإنجليزية نحتاج فعل الكون: am مع I، وis مع he وshe وit والمفرد، وare مع you وwe وthey والجمع. لا نحذفه كما نفعل في العربية.

Examples
- I am ten years old.
- Saud is my friend.
- We are in Grade 4.
- The cats are hungry.
Wrong: My sister happy.
Right: My sister is happy.
English needs am, is or are here. It cannot be left out.في العربية نقول «أختي سعيدة» بلا فعل، أما في الإنجليزية فلا بدّ من is.
